Using advanced technologies and personalized techniques while pursing the next level of scientific achievement and training the next generation of physicians and scientists are among our highest priorities.
Dr. Hazard is a pediatric pathologist with specialty training and board certification in anatomic, clinical and pediatric pathology. She has special clinical interest in pediatric rare tumors (germ cell tumors, hepatoblastoma, neuroblastoma, etc.), gastrointestinal disorders, developmental disorders, and placental and perinatal autopsy pathology.
Dr. Hazard’s research focuses on exploring the diagnostic and prognostic factors that govern pediatric rare tumors, developmental disorders and causes of perinatal death and disease. She is also interested in discovering new scientific techniques to diagnose and treat disorders that affect pediatric patients and their families.
