Optical Shop

The UC Davis Eye Center has four optical shops to meet the needs of our patients. At the Ernest E. Tschannen Eye Institute (TEI), our optical shop is conveniently located on the first floor. Additionally, we have optical shops at our Folsom, Roseville, and Davis clinic locations. We accept many different types of vision insurance, including VSP and Eyemed. We carry most major brand name frames and over thirty designer lines. We also carry a wide variety of fashionable sunglasses and reading glasses. Each of the UC Davis Optical Shops are staffed with ABO certified Opticians who have considerable experience and will be happy to assist you in selecting exactly the right eyewear to suit your needs. They also specialize in fitting children with pediatric eyewear.

Each Optical Shop is open from 9 a.m.-5 p.m., Monday through Friday, except for holidays.

All optical shop hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. No appointments necessary, walk-ins welcome.
