Labeling Instructions

All samples must be labeled with patient name, date of birth, date/time of collection and collectors initials.

If using PhysicianConnect, use the barcoded label generated after specimen collection.

Clinical Pathology Samples

Transportation of samples will be the lab client’s responsibility and can be delivered 24/7 to our clinical laboratory. Courier services are available but subject to contract terms and routine volume commitments.

Anatomical Pathology Slides and Tissues

Transportation of samples will be the lab client’s responsibility and lab clients are responsible for stabilizing tissue samples in appropriate fixatives. Samples/slides can be received in our Anatomical Pathology Dept. Mon – Fri from 8 a.m. 4 p.m. If using commercial shipping with overnight delivery, please send samples Monday - Thursday. Samples or slides shall be sent to:
