The Center for Occupational and Environmental Health brings together faculty and staff on the Berkeley, Davis and San Francisco campuses of the University of California to educate future leaders in occupational and environmental health, develop new knowledge and bring the resources of the University of California to people affected by health hazards in their workplaces or communities.
Environmental Health Sciences Center
From autism to climate change, the Environmental Health Sciences Center (EHSC) supports and funds research that promotes a better understanding of disease and disability related to the environment so communities can develop new ways to reduce their exposure to harmful chemicals and toxins.
Medical Surveillance Program
Through the Medical Surveillance Program, occupational medicine physicians offer a comprehensive range of occupational health services for agencies involved with hazardous materials and/or dangerous conditions. Examinations are provided on-site with our mobile medical unit or at your own facility or at our Sacramento traditional clinic site.
Tobacco Control Evaluation Center
The Tobacco Control Evaluation Center (TCEC) provides evaluation consulting and training to social service and disease prevention programs. It also serves as the statewide evaluation technical assistance provider for California's tobacco control programs. TCEC provides individual technical assistance, training, and evaluation-related resources while striving to build the evaluation capacity of local programs.
Western Center for Agricultural Health and Safety
The Western Center for Agricultural Health and Safety focuses on improving and protecting the health and safety of farmers, farmworkers and their families.
