Philosophy of Care
As a Pediatric Hospitalist, I strive to provide family-centered, value-based care to all my patients. I hope to guide a family through the difficult time of hospitalization and, by using shared-decision making, work as a team toward the goals of care that are important to patients and their families.
As a pediatric hospitalist, my main clinical interest is providing value-based care to hospitalized children and families. By understanding the evidence and safely doing less, I hope to minimize unnecessary interventions while providing the optimal care to the patient.
My academic interest and research is in medical education and hope to empower my students to use research and evidence to provide high value care to their patients.
