Research/Academic Interests

Dr. Aralis' research focuses on the development and use of methodology for the evaluation of interventions being integrated into healthcare, home, educational, and community settings. Methodological areas of interest include longitudinal and hierarchical modeling, observational and quasi-experimental designs, stochastic modeling of health trajectories with incomplete data, multiple-testing adjustment for correlated outcomes, and intervention adaptation evaluation using real-world data. Dr. Aralis' research spans a wide range of different application areas including behavioral health, military health, perinatal exposures, school-based interventions, homelessness, trauma and resilience, HIV/AIDS, and dementia.
