This performance oriented evaluation is designed to provide a comprehensive assessment of your current level of fitness and readiness for more rigorous sports pursuits. From soccer to Spartan Race, triathlon to CrossFit, or any physically active pursuit, this evaluation will help guide your training and improve your fitness. The evaluation includes a range of assessments, followed by a discussion of the results and recommendations for improvement. This evaluation is ideal for anyone looking to assess their current level of readiness for more competitive endeavors and receive expert direction for improvement.

Evaluation includes

  • Body Composition via DXA scan to measure % body fat, lean mass, bone density, muscle mass and visceral adipose tissue.
  • Functional Movement Screening to identify limitations and asymmetries in fundamental movement patterns, helping avoid injury and improve movement quality.
  • Fundamental Capacity Screening to assess fundamental sports fitness competency and identify issues that may be inhibiting performance.
  • VO2max test with measurement of oxygen consumption (VO2), heart rate and power/pace. Includes identification of first and second ventilatory thresholds (VT1 and VT2) to provide individual training zones.
  • Explanation of test results and an individualized exercise prescription designed by an exercise specialist.
  • Optional: Separate appointment with a Registered Dietician for a Dietary Analysis and recommendations, based off of a 3 day diet record and specific goals.
