Event Details

The UC Davis Health Staff Assembly Executive Committee is excited to announce the return of our annual Thank Goodness for Staff (TGFS) celebration — the biggest and most anticipated employee recognition event of the year!

On April 28 and 29, rain or shine, we’ll come together across UC Davis Health to celebrate the extraordinary work happening in our hospital, clinics, and departments every single day.

TGFS brings together thousands of UC Davis Health staff members for one purpose: to say a heartfelt THANK YOU for all that YOU do. This is your time to connect with colleagues, celebrate your impact, and enjoy some well-deserved fun and appreciation.

Join us for food trucks, entertainment, lawn games, and so much more! The committee is planning an exciting lineup including a live DJ, interactive art activities, and festive surprises throughout the event.

Please remember: your badge will be required to receive a food truck ticket.

We cannot wait to celebrate with you — come out, join the fun, and let us show our appreciation for the incredible difference you make every day!

  TGFS Onsite Day Event

• Date: Tuesday, April 28
• Time: 11 a.m. - 2 p.m.
• Location: Vanderhoef Lawn and Education Building (food trucks in the Shriner's lawn area)
• Lunch ticket distribution: In front of the Education Building

TGFS Onsite Night Event

• Date: Tuesday, April 28
• Time: 9 p.m. - 1 a.m. (pre-order pickup is from 8 - 9 p.m.)
• Location: North Addition Office Building Room 1001 (food trucks will be in the Cypress Parking Lot)
• Dinner ticket distribution: North Addition, Room 1001

TGFS Offsite Events  

• Rancho Cordova Clinic, HAS and PCC buildings
  • Date: Wednesday, April 29
  • Time: 11 a.m. - 2 p.m.
  • Location: HAS & PCC Parking Lots
  • Lunch ticket distribution: Handled by department managers
