The winter 2024 issue of Synthesis magazine is available. The biannual magazine of UC Davis Comprehensive Cancer Center shares the latest news about cancer science and advanced treatments helping to bring innovative cancer care to patients.
This issue’s cover story features a top UC Davis cancer researcher who has been awarded a $1.9 million grant to study lethal cancers in firefighters.
The magazine also includes a story on the new Canine Tumor Genome Atlas project. Learn about how the next-generation DNA sequencing of dog tumors may help unlock cancer breakthroughs for pets as well as people.
