  • Pediatric neurosurgeon

    Marike Zwienenberg, M.D., F.A.A.N.S.

    Dr. Zwienenberg is a fellowship trained and board certified pediatric neurosurgeon. The focus of her practice is craniofacial and congenital surgery. She is the lead neurosurgeon on the UC Davis fetal surgery team performing intra-uterine repair of myelomeningocele and routinely uses minimally invasive endoscopic surgical techniques to treat disorders such as craniosynostosis and hydrocephalus.

    Julia Sharma, M.D., F.R.C.S.C., F.A.A.N.S.

    Dr. Sharma is fellowship-trained and board certified in Pediatric Neurological Surgery. She is the Chief of Pediatric Epilepsy, specialized in the surgical treatment of epilepsy. She also has expertise in surgical treatment of spasticity, hypertonicity, and complex spinal lipomas.

    Dr. Sadegh is a fellowship trained pediatric neurosurgeon with expertise in treating hydrocephalus, brain tumors, and moyamoya disease. He offers minimally invasive surgical options and makes use of stereotactic brain navigation, intra-operative ultrasound, and flexible endoscopic surgery.

    Peggy Jung is a board certified nurse practitioner. She is specialized in epilepsy, providing specialized care to patients before and after epilepsy neurosurgery.

    Max Caudle, Physician Assistant

    Max Caudle is a board certified Physician Assistant. He is a graduate of the nationally accredited UC Davis APP Neurosurgery Fellowship, which included dedicated pediatric training. He mainly works inpatient and provides specialized care to pediatric neurosurgery patients.
