It is my privilege to care for sick children and to support both children and their families during life-threatening and critical illness. I strive to provide care for children and their families in a compassionate and evidence based fashion while working with a multidisciplinary and caring team made up of physicians, nurses, and many other support staff. It is my honor to be part of the wonderful team at UC Davis Children’s Hospital.
Dr. Colwell is a pediatric critical care physician who cares for children with all types of critical illness. She has interests in early mobilization in the pediatric intensive care unit, medical education and teaching, and working with a multidisciplinary and multi-professional team to provide the best care to critically ill children.
