My goal is to provide trauma-informed and evidenced-based care that respects that dignity of my patients. I am interested in partnering with entire families, and believe that our health is deeply rooted in our relationships. I work to provide care using a kind, non-judgemental, and family-centered approach.
Dr. Snitzer is a general pediatrician focused on treating children and adolesents. She is the medical director of CIRCLE Clinic, a clinic dedicated to working with children and families involved in the child welfare system. She has a special interest and expertise in working with children and teenagers who have experienced trauma, those with a neurodevelopmental disability, and those who identify as LGBTQ.
Dr. Snitzer’s current research focuses on children with neurodivergence who have experienced trauma. The majority of her research is based in public health; she has previously explored school suspension, funding for Early Intervention, and substance use as mediators of health status.
