Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)

The American Heart Association’s (AHA) PALS course is geared towards healthcare providers who respond to emergencies in infants and children and for personnel in emergency response, emergency medicine, intensive care and critical care units.

The UC Davis Health Center for Professional Practice of Nursing offers courses that are available for employees and community participants in the Sacramento area. Participants will receive an official AHA card upon successful completion.

Proof of Completion

Employees who have taken PALS outside of UC Davis Health and need to update their certification in UC Learning Center may e-mail their AHA card to hs-cppn@ucdavis.edu.

Only AHA cards can be accepted per hospital policy 3010.
