Amie B. Ragasa-Sta. Maria, M.S., B.S.N., R.N., N.P.D.-B.C., P.H.N., C.I.C.
Amie B. Ragasa-Sta. Maria, M.S., B.S.N., R.N., P.H.N., C.I.C. earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Mariano Marcos State University, Philippines in 1991. In 1994, as she fulfilled the requirements of Commission on Graduates of Foreign Nursing School (CGFNS), International Certification Program, she ventured out to California and continued her practice as an RN. Amie completed her Master of Science in Nursing and Healthcare Leadership at the Betty Irene Moore School of Nursing at UC Davis in 2020 with emphasis in Health Professions Educator. She is currently certified in Infection Control and Prevention.
Amie has a wide variety of experiences as a clinical nurse, educator, risk management and performance improvement, nursing management and leadership in mental health, community and teaching facilities. Prior to CPPN, she collaborated, participated and led hospital-wide initiatives, projects and committees in her role as an Infection Preventionist. Amie is excited to be a part of the CPPN team and be an influencer to nurses with their professional development.
