Kimiko McCulloch, M.S.N., R.N., N.P.D.-B.C., C.I.C.
Kimiko McCulloch, M.S.N., R.N., N.P.D.-B.C., C.I.C. earned a BS in Microbiology from California Polytechnic State University, followed by a Multiple Subject Teaching Credential from San Francisco State, and Nursing licensure from Samuel Merritt and an MSN in Nursing Education from Western Governors University. Kimiko holds professional certifications in both Nursing Professional Development and in Infection Control.
Kimiko’s clinical experience includes direct care and Clinical Resource Nurse on the Trauma Nursing Unit and most recently in Infection Prevention. She has contributed to the profession through several national presentations and has been very active in multiple educational presentations at UC Davis Health on topics related to infection prevention. Additionally, Kimiko is very active in the professional community, currently serving as the Secretary/Treasurer for the Greater Sacramento Epidemiological Society/ Infectious Disease Society of America and on the board of the Sierra Chapter of the Association for Professionals in Infection Control (APIC).
Kimiko has acted as a EMR superuser, student preceptor and as a facilitator for the New Graduate Nurse Residency Program. She is passionate about learning and advancing others in their professional development.
