Emaan Ahmed is a Data Analyst for the Licensed Physicians from Mexico Pilot Program (LPMPP).

Emaan is passionate about using data to tackle societal inequities. She received a Bachelor's degree from the University of California, Irvine (UCI) where she was actively involved in educational data mining research. She then went on to complete a Master’s at UCI during which she won the award for Best Thesis Paper for her research in equity and higher education. Emaan is also committed to serving the Muslim community, which led her to obtain a second Master’s degree in Islamic Law at The institute of knowledge.

As a native Californian and a child of immigrants, Emaan is deeply connected to the mission behind LPMPP: using an innovative approach to increase personal, culturally competent, and best-in-class healthcare for all.
