Project Coordinator, Interdisciplinary Collaboration and Cultural Transformation Model Learning Collaborative (ICCTM LC), Program to Alleviate National Disparities in Ethnic and Minority Immunizations in the Community (PANDEMIC)
Krystal Mora Anaya began her career as an AmeriCorps member in 2013 working under the Child Abuse Prevention Center in Sacramento, CA. Her dedication led her to accumulate a wealth of experience and certifications in Parent-Child Education, Injury Prevention, Workplace Violence Prevention, Project Coordination, and Facilitation. In 2015, she became part of UC Davis Health, initially serving in the Injury Prevention Department as a Community Education Specialist. Over time, she transitioned to the Center for Professional Practice of Nursing, where she assumed roles as an Education Analyst and the School Liaison for Nursing Students. Her contribution to programs has been universally acknowledged, notably as a key figure in her previous department's attainment of the Team DAISY award for regional nursing student placements.
With her experience and enthusiasm in community engagement, facilitation and project coordination, Krystal continues to expand her knowledge in various projects at UC Davis Health. She joined the Center for Reducing Health Disparities team in October 2022 as the Project Coordinator for the Interdisciplinary Collaboration and Cultural Transformation Model Learning Collaborative (ICCTM LC) and most recently started project coordination for the Program to Alleviate National Disparities in Ethnic and Minority Immunizations in the Community (PANDEMIC). She aspires to continue growing in her roles and to always serve the community wherever she is involved.
