Health Education Resources
- Office of the California Surgeon General: Our mission is to advance the health and well-being of all Californians. As California's first Surgeon General, Dr. Nadine Burke Harris established early childhood, health equity, and ACEs and toxic stress as key priorities. The Office of the California Surgeon General has set the bold goal to reduce ACEs and toxic stress by half in one generation.
- Pan American Health Organization (PAHO): The Pan American Health Organization (PAHO) is the specialized international health agency for the Americas. It works with countries throughout the region to improve and protect people's health. PAHO engages in technical cooperation with its member countries to fight communicable and noncommunicable diseases and their causes, to strengthen health systems, and to respond to emergencies and disasters. - Latinas Contra Cancer (LCC): Latinas Contra Cancer (LCC) stands by cancer patients, offering critical support during their cancer journey, especially for those facing economic and social challenges. LCC's mission is to reduce cancer-related health disparities among the Hispanic community in Santa Clara County through outreach, education, screening, and navigation services, all provided by bilingual/bi-cultural coordinators.
- The Latino Cancer Institute (TLCI): The Latino Cancer Institute (TLCI) is a nationwide community and research network dedicated to solving the issues and burden of Latino cancer. They are dedicated to the promotion of education, services, research and policy that impact Latinos nationwide around issues of cancer. TLCI operates from a framework of science meets service and proposes to act as a connector, convener, and advocate for stakeholders in the Latino cancer landscape.

- Visión y Compromiso is a nationally respected organization dedicated to improving the health and well-being of underrepresented communities. Today, we are the only organization in California providing comprehensive and ongoing leadership development, capacity building, advocacy training, and support to over 4,000 Promotores and Community Health Workers.
