Purpose
The purpose of the Adolescent and Young Adult (AYA) Health Research Advisory Board is to provide input into proposed and ongoing research studies, current communication platforms used by AYAs, and reasons why young people participate in studies.
Structure
The advisory board will meet for two hours online by Zoom. There will be 2-6 meetings a year. During the meetings, the advisory board members will give feedback on research, react to materials provided by researchers, and make suggestions on how research with AYA can be improved.

- Advisory board members are compensated $75 for each meeting they attend.
Requirements
- Attend at least 75% of scheduled meetings each year (must have a stable internet connection)
- Spend at least one hour before each meeting reading materials sent to advisory board members to prepare for the meeting
- Provide thoughtful feedback at meetings
- Make suggestions about what you think adolescents and young adults need
- Commit to staying on the board for at least one year
- Must live in Northern California
