Interests

Like most Midwesterners I enjoy things like being nice, drinking beer, and saying "Ope!". I've always been drawn to the great outdoors and I am super stoked to be out here where the mountains are. In the winter you'll find me on the slopes, and at UCD we have a strong group of skiers and boarders ready to shred at any given moment. Other hobbies and interests include (but are not limited to) hiking, surfing, recycling, wandering around IKEA, hanging out with my friends' dogs, and trying new things.

Why did you choose UCDavis EM?

I chose UCD EM because it was obvious everyone here is a family (but that crazy, fun family that you can't seem to get enough of). Everyone has your back here, on shift or off. And if you're in need of a laugh or a beer, these are your people. Having a large class is definitely a perk and I couldn't ask for a better learning environment. Seeing my fellow residents crushing it in the ED, it's clear that UCD produces stellar docs and I am beyond excited for this journey.
