Interests

I love the outdoors and traveling, so my partner and I go camping with our dog to explore when we can. When I have an afternoon to myself, I like to cook elaborate meals or practice playing guitar. It’s always fun getting together with my co-residents. No one shows up empty handed, whether that’s with food, dogs, babies, or beers. In the winter, we ski! I’m awaiting the first snow fall in Tahoe with much anticipation.

Why did you choose UC Davis EM?

The combination of Sacramento and the Davis EM residency has been a perfect fit. The EM residency here felt like home from day one. The faculty are incredibly gifted in their capacity to teach, inspire, and guide residents through their training. I was looking for a residency with not only excellent training, but a strong community of caring physicians, and I found that and more at Davis. I also love Sac and all of the farmers markets, good restaurants, and things to do. We’re close to Yosemite, Tahoe, and the Northern coast, which has already made for some fantastic trips.
