UC Davis Health is recognized as a tax-exempt, 501(c)(3) public charity by the Internal Revenue Service. Your gift to the UC Davis Health Eye Center qualifies as a charitable deduction for federal tax purposes permitted by law.
A gift to the UC Davis Eye Center is a meaningful way to celebrate someone special, honor the memory of a loved one, or express gratitude to a physician or care team who made a difference in your life. Your tribute also helps advance patient care, research and education for others.
We will notify the person you are honoring, or a designated family member, of your thoughtful gift while keeping the gift amount confidential. When making your gift, please provide the name of the person you are honoring or remembering, along with the name and contact information of the individual you would like us to notify.
By promising a gift and making payments over time, pledged gifts enable you to give more generously than what might be possible through a single contribution. Whether in the form of cash, securities, credit card payments or other types of assets, you can pay your pledge over a period of up to five years, in annual semiannual or quarterly installments, with payments beginning at your convenience.
Many companies sponsor matching gift programs that amplify the impact of their employees’ personal contributions without increasing the obligation of the individual donor. Most participating companies will match employee gifts dollar-for-dollar, and some will even double- or triple-match a gift. Find out if your company offers a matching gift program and learn how to submit your matching gift form by visiting matching gift page.
Gifts of stocks, bonds or mutual funds can be a tax-advantageous way to support the UC Davis Eye Center while making a meaningful investment in the areas of care, research and education that matter most to you.
