1. Choose a CalPERS health plan that we accept

- Blue Shield Access+ HMO
- Blue Shield of California Medicare (PPO)
- PERS Platinum (PPO)
- PERS Gold (PPO)
- PERS Platinum (PPO) Supplement to Medicare Plan
- PERS Gold (PPO) Supplement to Medicare Plan
- United Healthcare Group Medicare Advantage (PPO)
(Note 9/17/25: In the CalPERS open enrollment portal, UC Davis Medical Group is not currently listed in the Blue Shield health plans. This is an error and will be resolved soon).
CalPERS members living in Folsom and El Dorado County who choose Anthem Select HMO and UC Davis Health also have access to Marshall Medical Center primary and specialty care services.

2. Choose UC Davis Health as your medical group
We may be listed as UC Davis Health or as UC Davis Medical Group in your materials.
If you don’t find us under those names, here are some other names we may be listed under:

- University of California, Davis
- Univ of CA Davis
3. Primary care doctor assignment
You will be prompted to select your provider in the system. Please call 916-734-0702 for assistance selecting a provider accepting new patients. This dedicated CalPERS phone line has been established as part of our service commitment to CalPERS members.
