Traveling and hanging out with friends, hiking and exercise, watching shows on various streaming services, going to concerts, reading Persian poetry (Hafez, Khayyam, Rumi are my favorite), cooking and baking.
Reason for Choosing UC Davis:
The program had a great vibe from the beginning, starting with my interview day. The atmosphere is very welcoming and friendly. I found UCD as a very well-structured program with enthusiastic and dedicated faculty.

CV Highlights / Brief Biography:
I was born and raised in Kermanshah, Iran. After I graduated from medical school, I start to practice as a general practitioner in my country for five years. I moved to the United States 7 years ago with my husband (he is a surgery resident now), hoping to build up a better future. I have been working as a Medical Assistant, since then and I have also done multiple research, volunteering before I got matched at Pathology.
