Welcome to the Department of Pediatrics! Currently, we have more than 300 staff, students, residents, fellows, and volunteers and full-time faculty. Our physicians are some of the best and brightest in the greater Northern California region and beyond.
Quality and patient safety, along with enhancing patient and parent satisfaction, is my primary clinical priority. Other clinical priorities include increasing access to high-quality pediatric primary and subspecialty care for all children irrespective of their socioeconomic status.

The UC Davis Department of Pediatrics Residency Program is a nationally-recognized program that trains pediatricians to be outstanding physicians who serve as leaders in both their communities and profession.
The Department of Pediatrics has research interests that cover basic, translational, pre-clinical and clinical topics, with the goal of enhancing the understanding of pediatric diseases and developing new diagnostics and therapeutics.

Pediatrics Grand Rounds
Grand Rounds are held every Friday morning for one hour. Interesting topics and cases are presented by guest speakers. Residents are also assigned topics and cases to be presented each week.
