Philosophy of Care

I am strongly committed to understanding, prevention, care, and cure of neurodevelopmental and neurodegenerative disorders. My practice includes individuals of all ages, from early childhood assessments for neurodiverse individuals to end-of-life psychological supports for individuals with neurodegenerative disorders and their families.

My philosophy of care is providing evidence-based, person-centered care for individuals with Fragile X Syndrome and autism spectrum disorders. I believe in building strong therapeutic relationships with my patients, collaborating with families and other healthcare providers, and utilizing a strengths-based approach to assessment and treatment. Through a focus on cognitive-behavioral techniques, I aim to help individuals develop coping skills and increase their ability to manage challenging behaviors and emotions. My ultimate goal is to help each individual achieve their full potential and live a fulfilling life, while also advocating for increased awareness and understanding of these conditions within the broader community.
