As a Pediatric Hospitalist, she strives to provide family-centered, value-based care to all her patients. She hopes to guide a family through the difficult time of hospitalization and, by using shared-decision making, work as a team toward the goals of care that are important to patients and their families.
As a pediatric hospitalist, her main clinical interest is providing value-based care to hospitalized children and families. By understanding the evidence and safely doing less, she hopes to minimize unnecessary interventions while providing the optimal care to the patient.
Dr. Witkowski's interest and research is in medical education and hope to empower students to use research and evidence to provide high value care to their patients.
