It is truly a great privilege to provide care for children with acute needs in the fields of hematology and oncology. This area of medicine has advanced through cooperation and sharing of information and novel therapeutics. I believe in open and direct communication with families on a regular basis to empower families so that as a team we can help to provide the best possible care for their child.
Dr. Panigrahi is a pediatric hematology/oncology specialist offering care for children with various cancer diagnoses such as leukemia, lymphoma and neuroblastoma. He also focuses his practice on various hematological conditions such as bleeding disorders (hemophilia, von Willebran disease, ITP), anemia and white blood cell disorders. He is involved in many clinical trials to advance care for these patients.
Dr. Panigrahi's research focuses on various hematological conditions such as immune thrombocytopenic purpura and also on hematological malignancies such as leukemia. He is also interested in clinical pharmacology and advancement through clinical trials. He is also involved in many aspects of medical education for both medical students and residents.
