Being diagnosed with a kidney condition can seem scary. Dr. Kaneko will work with you as part of your team to guide you and create a diagnostic and treatment plan that is right for your child and your family, while also grounded in scientific evidence.
Dr. Kaneko is a general pediatric nephrologist offering care for infants, children and adolescents with various kidney diseases including inherited kidney diseases, high blood pressure, acute and chronic kidney diseases and abnormalities in the urine such as blood and protein. She also provides care for children with kidney failure who need dialysis or transplant.
Dr. Kaneko's research focuses on improving equity among children with advanced kidney disease, particularly in the area of kidney transplantation.
