Philosophy of Care

I chose to be a ob/gyn to care for women through their lifespan and feel privileged to care for them through different parts of life. My philosphy of care focuses on listening to my patients' concerns, presenting the most up to date options, and working together to make a plan that best fits each persons' goals. No patient is exactly alike and everyone needs an invidual approach.

Clinical Interests

Dr. Trifiro is part of the University Womens Health practice. He provides both gynecologic and obstetrical care for women throughout their lives. Dr. Trifiro has particular interest in Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery (MIGS) with a Focused Practice Designation by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ABOG). Dr. Trifiro specializes in the most up to date surgical and medical care for gynecologic issues such as fibroids, adenomyosis and many other gynecologic conditions with a particular focus on endometriosis.

Research/Academic Interests

Dr. Trifiro focuses on minimally invasive approach to endometriosis surgery and care. He has advance training in caring for advanced and difficult endometriosis. He has particular interest in teaching and training the next generation of gynecologists in the Obstetrics and Gynecology residency program to have knowledge and skills to care for patients with endometriosis.
