Our gynecologic oncology division is on the leading edge of cancer care and is part of the largest cancer program in inland Northern California. The UC Davis Comprehensive Cancer Center is among only 52 NCI designated comprehensive cancer centers in the United States. Our gynecologic oncologists provide both surgical and medical treatments for reproductive tract malignancies. Our team also works closely with specialists from palliative care, radiation oncology, gynecologic pathology and related surgical subspecialties to provide a full range of expertise. UC Davis’ multidisciplinary treatment team includes nurse case managers, social workers, nurse practitioners, dietitians, genetic counselors and pain medicine specialists. We treat these common cancers:
Division Director, Gynecologic Oncology
Fellowship Director, Gynecology Oncology
Research Scholar, BIRCWH K12 Program
Chair, Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology
The fellowship training program in gynecologic oncology at the UC Davis Medical Center is a three-year program that includes 24 months of clinical training and 12 months of mentored focused research. The clinical training includes instruction in gynecologic cancer surgery and complex benign surgery, under the direction of the members of the Division of Gynecologic Oncology.
