Family Planning and Reproductive Health Care

At the Family Planning Center, we believe that every person deserves nonjudgmental, confidential, and compassionate attention to their unique needs throughout their reproductive life.

We provide counseling and care for those in need of:

  • Understanding Miscarriage: Causes, Symptoms, and Next Steps Explained

A pregnancy journey can be filled with many ups and downs. Expecting moms are often very in tune with their bodies, but it's often hard to know which signs may indicate a miscarriage. Anne Flynn, an OB-GYN with UC Davis Health, explains the signs and causes of a miscarriage, what expecting parents should know, and when they can safely try to get pregnant again.

  • Exercise During Pregnancy: Tips and Safety Guidelines for Staying Active

At your pregnancy verification visit, one of the most important topics discussed is how to stay healthy and active during pregnancy. Exercise is highly recommended, with 150 minutes of moderate activity per week being the goal. But what does that look like for you? Anne Flynn, an OB-GYN with UC Davis Health, explains how to safely incorporate exercise into your day and which activities to avoid while pregnant.

Early Pregnancy and Miscarriage Center

UC Davis Health has a multispecialty team of obstetrician-gynecologists dedicated to early pregnancy evaluation. Our team of specialists work with you to understand pregnancy loss and provide the most up-to-date care and evaluation programs available in the region.
