The UC Davis Department of Radiation Oncology offers a four year residency program in clinical medical physics that meets all American Board of Radiology (ABR) requirements and is fully accredited by the American Medical Association's Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME).
In addition to residency training, the department supports education and clinical observation opportunities for nursing, radiation therapy, and medical dosimetry professionals. These experiences provide hands on exposure to radiation oncology practice within a multidisciplinary academic medical center.
Our department is committed to fostering a respectful and inclusive work environment guided by the UC Davis Principles of Community. Additional resources and support for learners are available through the Office of Medical Pathways.
