Conducting the semi-annual self-inspection is one of the most important duties of the Departmental Safety Coordinator, and is a key component of UC Davis Health’s Injury and Illness Prevention Program. These inspections are a medical center requirement. For School of Medicine, refer to the  School of Medicine safety webpage.

The semi-annual self-inspection is conducted in March and September. Once you complete it, send to your Division Safety Coordinator and file in your green binder under tab 7. Do not send directly to Environmental Health & Safety. It is important that you correct any items you find to be non-compliant; you can track your corrections on the form and in your green binder.
