It's time for the 20th annual CMN golf tournament, October 8 & 9, 2026, at Yocha Dehe Golf Club. Tee time is 10 a.m.
It is a milestone year for this event, and our first two-day tournament. We know it will be a record-breaking year in support of UC Davis Children’s Hospital!
Every year, supporters of Children’s Miracle Network (CMN) at UC Davis Children’s Hospital gather for fun, fellowship, and fundraising for programs, patient care, research and equipment to benefit local children. From an action-packed round on the links to great food, beverages, drawings, and prizes, the annual tournament brings the community together to enjoy, celebrate, and share our collective support "fore" the kids.
Why Play Yellow?
Yellow is the color for children’s hospitals and the driving force behind CMN’s national Play Yellow golf program.
Launched by golf legend Jack Nicklaus and wife, Barbara, it encourages golfers to wear yellow – shirts, shorts, skirts, hats and even shoes – to show support for kids treated at their local CMN hospital.

Event Highlights
Auction/Raffle: Displayed at the registration area for viewing. Enter to win before teeing off.
Tournament Contests: Putting, long drive, closest to the pin, accuracy drive, cannon and more great contests on the course.
UC Davis Children’s hospital doctors, nurses and patient ambassadors will also be available to share more about the mission of CMN at UC Davis.

Meet our 2026 champion, Shine Arslanian
Shine was born five weeks early, weighing just 4.5 pounds. He was immediately transported to UC Davis Children’s Hospital. Doctors noticed that Shine’s jaws and eyes couldn’t open, his knees wouldn’t extend completely, and his fingers and toes were joined together. He was diagnosed with Popliteal Pterygium Syndrome (PPS) Bartsocas-Papas type, a rare condition. Shine was also diagnosed with a complicated disorder known as ectodermal dysplasia. He’s had 17 surgeries to date, but did this stop him? Not at all. Shine is an active, determined boy who plans to be a Paralympic athlete!
How donations helped a kid like Shine
CMN donations fund the state-of-the-art Children’s Hospital ambulance, which safely transports the tiniest of patients to UC Davis Children’s Hospital. The neonatal and pediatric teams provide 24/7 transport, covering 33 counties in inland Northern California.
