Dissemination Information
Have you presented at a conference or had your work published in a journal or newsletter? Tell us about your dissemination accomplishments through this survey link! You may upload your manuscript, poster, or presentation so we can display it. Please include a photo of yourself presenting your work. Your presentation will be added to the annual report.
Presentation Resources
Visit the ‘Presentations, Posters and Abstracts’ subtab of the website for more specific information and resources on abstract writing, presentation development, publication, poster printing and more!
Internal Dissemination
Submit an abstract to present at the Annual Nursing Science and Professional Governance Conference! Abstracts are due each year in January and the conference is held on the Wednesday during Nurses Week in May. For more details, visit our Conference page
External Dissemination
Find a platform in which you can share your research, evidence-based practice and/or quality improvement related work! There are many ways in which you can disseminate what you've accomplished. The table in the “External Dissemination” page offers a list of some of the professional organizations and associated events at which you can submit an abstract to present in oral or poster format. If you have any updates to this information, please contact hs-nursescience@ucdavis.edu.
**Note: To avoid self-plagiarism and copyright infringement, it is ill-advised to present the same work/analysis to more than one external conference. “Self-plagiarism” is considered a form of redundant publication. It may also be considered academic misconduct. See Foster et al. 2019 Good Practice for Conference Abstracts and Presentations for more details. Generally, authors should not publish manuscripts describing essentially the same work in more than one journal or primary publication. Duplicate publication often results in the violation of copyright unless explicit permission is obtained from the original journal.
