Course description
The 6-hour blended (independent pre-work and in-person live sessions) course on Leading a Culture of Excellence is designed to equip participants with the knowledge and skills necessary to lead their teams towards a culture of excellence. This course is intended for nurse managers and directors committed to fostering high standards in their practice.
Participants will explore key concepts related to building and sustaining a culture of excellence, including strategies for staff engagement, leadership development, and creating an environment that supports superior patient outcomes. The blended learning course will feature interactive discussions, case studies, and practical exercises to enhance the application of concepts. Participants must complete all pre-class activities and attend the in-person workshop to receive continuing education (CE) credit.
Virtual session requirements and preparation
This class is a blend of synchronous in-person and asynchronous virtual class sessions. The asynchronous virtual session includes independent time (30 minutes) to review and complete the required materials and assignments prior to attending the in-person session.
