Course description
This course is based on the study guide provided by the National Certification Corporation (NCC). Day 1 includes review of maternal factors, neonatal resuscitation, and physical assessment. Respiratory review includes blood gas interpretation, neonatal respiratory conditions, noninvasive modalities, and mechanical ventilation. The cardiac review includes transition to extrauterine life, cyanotic heart defects, acyanotic heart defects and other cardiac conditions.
C.E. contact hours
Provider approved by the California Board of Registered Nursing, provider number CEP 26, for 8.0 contact hours.
Attendees will not receive C.E. credit if they are more than 20 minutes late; no partial credit can be awarded.
Registration
UC Davis Health employees
$25 registration deposit. Registration deposit is returned upon completion of class. Cancellation must be requested five days prior to class date to receive deposit refund. Please register through UC Learning Center and call our office at 916-734-9790 with your deposit by credit card.
Registrations are approved only after your deposit is provided.
Community registrants
This class is only open to UC Davis Health employees.

Parking
Parking is available in parking structure 4, lots 12, 17, 22, 22 Auxiliary, 30, 30 Auxiliary, Broadway, EDD, and DOJ with either a B permit or daily permit.
