The employee registration process requiring deposits has changed slightly.

  1. Scroll down to Registration, click the "Register" link. This will take you to UC Learning Center where you can register for the class.
  2. Call our office at 916-734-9790 with your deposit information to confirm your seat in the class.

Course description

This course provides a foundation for neonatal pharmacology. A review of medication administration, drug distribution, excretion and resistance will be provided. Commonly used medications in the neonatal population will be reviewed: antibiotics, antivirals, caffeine, diuretics and anticonvulsants. Care of the neonate experiencing Neonatal Abstinence Syndrome will also be provided.

C.E. contact hours

Provider approved by the California Board of Registered Nursing, provider number CEP 26, for 3.75 contact hours.

Attendees will not receive C.E. credit if they are more than 20 minutes late; no partial credit can be awarded.

Registration

UC Davis Health employees

$25 registration deposit. Registration deposit is returned upon completion of class. Cancellation must be requested five days prior to class date to receive deposit refund. Please register through UC Learning Center and call our office at 916-734-9790 with your deposit by credit card.

Registrations are approved only after your deposit is provided.

Community registrants

$38 registration fee. Cancellation must be requested five days prior to class date to receive a full refund. A $25 service fee will be charged after this date.

Parking

Parking is available in parking structure 4, lots 12, 17, 18, 25, Broadway or EDD with either a B permit or daily permit. Daily permits are available for purchase with the ParkMobile app using zone number 42201. Please visit Parking and Transportation Services for more information.
