Course description

This course will review fetal lung development in addition to oxygenation and ventilation. This course will review neonatal respiratory conditions including respiratory distress syndrome, meconium aspiration, persistent pulmonary hypertension, and congenital diaphragmatic hernia. Noninvasive modalities including high-flow nasal cannula and continuous positive airway pressure will be discussed in addition to reviewing mechanical ventilation. The learner will review x-ray findings and interpret blood gasses after review of these topics.

C.E. contact hours

Provider approved by the California Board of Registered Nursing, provider number CEP 26, for 5.5 contact hours.

Attendees will not receive C.E. credit if they are more than 20 minutes late; no partial credit can be awarded.

Parking

Employee parking is available in parking structure 4, lots 12, 17 and 18 with either a B permit or daily permit. Visitor daily permits can be purchased from the dispenser in lot 25 for $6 or from the Flowbird App and can be used in lots 22, 25, 30, Broadway and EDD.
