Junior Project Coordinator, Together For Wellness | Juntos por Nuestro Bienestar

Jacob Fraga serves as the Junior Project Coordinator for the Together For Wellness | Juntos por Nuestro Bienestar project at the Center for Reducing Health Disparities. In their previous role as a Clinical Research Coordinator on the MOVE IT UP2 project, Jacob was part of the team responsible for administering COVID tests through a mobile community-focused clinic spanning over 5 counties.

Drawing from their life experiences and community engagements, Jacob aspires to contribute to community well-being by ensuring every individual has a voice and is acknowledged by others.

Jacob started their career at the University of California, Davis, as a Lab Helper by joining the Healthy Davis Together project and helped open the first public testing site at the Davis Senior Center. Transitioning to the role of a Computer Resource Specialist, they started to work with the mobile team and helped open the project’s first public vaccine clinic at the Woodland Community College. Following that, the team would complete new activities, such as testing at local schools, migrant camps, senior homes, helping manage mobile vaccine operations, and facilitating testing at area day shelters.
