ConsulApp:

ConsulApp Contigo is an mobile app designed to bring security and support in emergency situations. It quickly connects to the Center for Information and Assistance to Mexican People (CIAM) in case of arrests or emergencies, offers clear information about your rights, allows you to register emergency contacts, and locate nearby consulates. In addition, it facilitates access to consular appointments through WhatsApp, all from the palm of your hand. 

UNAM, Acción Migrante

UNAM, Acción Migrante is a digital platform through which guidance and support are offered to Mexican migrants and migrants of other nationalities who live in the United States or who are already in Mexico. The program provides psychological care, legal guidance and job training. This is a joint partnership with UNAM's five campuses in the United States (Los Angeles, Tucson, San Antonio, Chicago, and Boston) and the Northwest Station of the Institute of Legal Research in Tijuana, as well as the extensive Consular Network that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has in U.S. territory.

  • Immigration Legal Resource Center: The Immigration Legal Resource Center (ILRC) | Centro de recursos legales de inmigración, trains attorneys, paralegals, and community-based advocates who work with immigrants around the country. We inform the media, elected officials, and public to shape effective and just immigration policy and law. Our staff works with grassroots immigrant organizations to promote civic engagement and social change.
  • California Immigrant Policy Center: The California Immigrant Policy Center (CIPC) is a constituent-based statewide immigrant rights organization with offices in Los Angeles, Sacramento and Oakland. It is a leading immigrant rights institution in the state. CIPC advocates for policies that uphold the humanity of immigrants and refugees while advancing racial, social and economic justice.
  • California Immigrant Youth Justice Alliance: CIYJA is a statewide immigrant youth-led alliance that focuses on placing immigrant youth in advocacy and policy delegations in order to ensure pro-immigrant policies go beyond legalization and shed light on how the criminalization of immigrants varies based on identity.
  • California Rural Legal Assistance Foundation: CRLAF is a statewide non-profit civil legal aid organization providing free legal services and policy advocacy for California’s rural poor. They focus on some of the most marginalized communities--the unrepresented, the unorganized, and the undocumented. They seek to bring about social justice to rural poor communities by working to address the most pressing needs of their community: Labor, Housing, Education Equity, Health Care Access, Worker Safety, Citizenship, Immigration, and Environmental Justice, through community education and outreach, impact litigation, legislative and administrative advocacy, and public policy leadership at the state and local level.
    • CRLAF's Noé Páramo held a Listening Session with the California Reducing Disparities Project on January 22, 2025. The slides can be accessed here and contain resources for Immigrants such as Health and Immigration Services, DACA status, California laws and protections for Immigrants, and rights that extend to everyone regardless of immigration status.
