Emerging Leaders Collective (ELC)
The Emerging Leaders Collective (ELC), formerly Leadership Transition Advisory Committee (LTAC) is designed to provide vital information for new leaders at UC Davis Health while also serving as a networking and mentorship opportunity. Participants engage in monthly information and discussion sessions and will hear from seasoned advisors in UC Davis Health leadership on a variety of topics.

Physician LEAD Program
The Physician LEAD Program – Leadership and Executive Administration Development is an opportunity for mid-career and senior faculty to expand their skills and knowledge in the business of healthcare. Key benefits from this program include gaining critical thinking skills as a CEO, a broader understanding of the landscape around the healthcare enterprise, experiential learning opportunities at a high level and focused organizational project support.
Executive Coaching
Executive coaching is provided through the Faculty Development office by a Certified Physician Development Coach, Terri Malcolm, M.D., MBA, CPE. Malcolm has served in executive positions and her clinical background is as a board-certified OBGYN. Her coaching philosophy, the Malcolm Method, is rooted in positive psychology, strengths-based leadership, and social and emotional intelligence.
Academic Affairs Faculty Leadership Academy
A workshop series for Academic Senate faculty with tenure or security of employment who have demonstrated the potential for leadership and who may aspire to join the ranks of academic leaders.
Continuing and Professional Education Executive Leadership Program
Presented by UC Davis Continuing and Professional Education (CPE), this program consists of 11 interactive sessions that expand your ability to confidently guide your organization.
Graduate School of Management Online Short Course: Leadership Program
Presented by UC Davis Graduate School of Management (GSM) in collaboration with GetSmarter, this program offers an experiential learning process whereby you’ll get the opportunity to lead a fictional team through several different scenarios while assessing your role within that environment.
