Faculty, students, and staff were invited to submit photos of themselves—or of their team—in their favorite Halloween costumes last month for a chance to win UC Davis Health swag.
Thank you to all who submitted photos for this year’s contest. With more than 40 entries altogether, it was a tough decision.
And the winners are … Choua Xiong (individual submission) ...
...and the Midtown Commons and Healthy Aging (team submission).
When Mally Xiong, emergency department health navigator, was informed she had won the individual photo contest, she expressed excitement and gratitude.
Xiong said, “Just a reminder that popcorn is prepared in the same pot, in the same heat, in the same oil, but they don’t pop at the same time. Don’t compare yourself to others, your time to pop is coming.”
Emily Yang, a licensed vocational nurse, submitted the Midtown Commons team entry.
“We had fun sharing our love and appreciation for staff and showcasing the businesses we enjoy frequenting,” Yang said.
