Dr. Gorantla utilizes a patient-centered approach focusing on patient well-being, comprehensive evaluation, personalized treatment, and a commitment to ongoing learning and collaboration to improve his patient's sleep quality and overall health.
Dr. Gorantla is a neurologist and sleep medicine specialist who offers comprehensive care for adults with sleep and neurologic disorders.
His clinical interests include restless leg syndrome (RLS), narcolepsy/ central disorders of hypersomnolence, circadian sleep-wake rhythm disorders, sleep apnea, insomnia, headache medicine, cognitive neurology/neurodegeneration, and REM sleep behavior disorder (RBD).
Dr. Gorantla's research focuses on the impact of sleep-wake disorders on brain health and neurological disorders. Restless legs syndrome and REM sleep behavior disorder are his areas of interest as well. He also participates in the training/ teaching of neurology residents and sleep medicine fellows.
