Dr. Chang is especially interested in inpatient care, epilepsy and genetic conditions but also see patients with developmental delay, movement disorders, tics and headaches, and neuromuscular conditions including congenital and autoimmune myasthenia.
Dr. Chang’s has had a long standing interest in neurogenetics. She authored the Medscape articles for Menkes disease, Incontinentia Pigmenti and Neuronal Ceroid Lipofuscinosis in 2002 and continues to update those articles. She has also coauthored an abstract on a hypotonic infant with an EARS2 Mutations and an article on patients with congenital myasthenia. She taught at a neurology board review course, giving lectures on:
She also works with the Genomic Medicine group closely, participates in the Genomic Medicine clinical rounds regularly and has given joint neurology grand rounds with various members of the Genomic Medicine group.
