I often meet families at times when they are facing exceptionally difficult situations. I strive to provide the best care possible no matter the circumstances, and to be with families as they take each next step.
Dr. Wusthoff is a pediatric neurologist providing care for children admitted to the hospital as well as in the outpatient clinic. Her areas of clinical focus are neonatal neurology and EEG monitoring of infants and children in the intensive care unit.
Dr. Wusthoff's research examines the use of brain monitoring, particularly EEG, to identify newborns and children who have or at risk for brain injury. She also studies how treatment of seizures in critical illness may reduce the risk of subsequent complications.
