The fellowship position is a benefitted academic appointment with limited term duration of 12 months. Both nurse practitioners and physicians’ assistants are paid a $90,000 stipend for the year.

Fellows are fully credentialed with an expectation of mentored independent practice as skills increase. Your schedule will be published one month in advance to include scheduled date of shift, shift hours, shifts assigned can include weekends and holidays per service line. While on shifts you will be paired with an experienced physician or advanced practice provider to provide supervision and support.

Successful fellows will receive a letter of recommendation for future employment and will be preferentially considered for open positions at UC Davis within their area of specialty.
