Advanced Practice Mentorship Committee Application

      • Mission of Council/Committee:

        The Advance Practice Mentorship Committee implements and maintains standards of advanced practice mentorship. This committee is invested in support advanced practice providers (APP) professional development and mentorship structure. This committee meets monthly for 1-hour meetings on the 3rd Thursday of each month from 12-1 p.m.

        Expectations of Council/Committee Members:

        1. Demonstrate an interest in and commitment to APP mentorship.

        2. Solicit ideas related to mentorship and clinical practice standards from APPs working on the member's unit/service.

        3. Communicate decisions and activities of the committee to APPs working on the member's unit/service.

        4. Attend at least 80% of the monthly committee meetings. Communicate with the committee Chair/ Co-Chair in advance when unable to attend a meeting.
