Mid-Shift "T" Parking Permit Lottery

Parking and Transportation Services is excited to announce the T Permit Lottery!

The T Permit operates like a time-restricted D permit. It is specifically designed to address the needs of employees working a mid-shift schedule, who report to work and need parking after 9:00am. Specifically, The T Permit allows parking in the "D" area assigned to you after 9:00am and until 5:00am, Monday through Friday, and any time weekends and University holidays.

The cost for a T Permit is $89 per month, or $31 for a Monthly T Reservation in addition to daily parking ($2.32 per day).

T Permit Lottery

To introduce this new permit, Parking and Transportation Services is holding a one-time only drawing, where a total 150 employees will be randomly selected and given the opportunity to upgrade to a T parking permit. Entry is from Wednesday, March 22 through Sunday, April 2, 2023. A separate drawing will be held for the following locations:

• Parking Structure 1, along Stockton near Cypress Building (50 Permits available)
• Parking Structure 2, behind Ellison ACC (50 Permits available)
• Parking Structure 3, near Main Hospital entrance (50 Permits available)

If you are a B permitholder or regular ParkMobile daily parking user during the months of January through February, 2023, you are eligible to enter for any or all three locations.

Please note: This drawing is only for employees with a monthly B Permit or who regularly use ParkMobile. To be eligible, you must have a past or current monthly B parking permit that was valid for at least 15 days between January 1, 2023, and February 28, 2023, or must have purchased at least 10 daily permits through ParkMobile during the same period. Current D Permitholders are not eligible to participate.

How the Drawing Works:

To enter the drawing, submit an entry form between Wednesday, March 22 through midnight Sunday, April 2, 2023.

On your entry request, you may choose to enter one, two or all three drawings, however you may only claim one winning ticket. Only one entry request will be accepted per person; you cannot change your selections once the entry request has been submitted and tickets have been issued.

Winning tickets will be drawn randomly on Monday, April 3, 2023. Winners will be notified my email no later than Tuesday, April 4, 2023.

Claiming Your Permit

If your number is randomly selected, you will have two weeks to claim your T permit. Winning tickets not claimed in time will be automatically forfeited and another entrant may be chosen.

Individuals whose numbers were chosen on April 3, 2023, will have until midnight on April 18, 2023, to claim their T permit. Winners will receive additional instructions.

After submitting your claim, please allow up to 3 days for Parking Service to process your claim. Permits will be sold at the prevailing rate for T Permits. If you have selected recurring credit card, you will be asked to log into your parking account to complete the transaction and enroll in recurring credit card payments. Remember: Parking Services will never ask for your credit card information over the phone and cannot accept credit card numbers by email or text.

Alternate Winners

In the event that someone receives more than one winning ticket number or fails to claim a ticket number, alternate winners will be selected according to the published draw order. Alternate winners will be notified by email, with instructions and alternate deadlines.
